General Project information:                                                                            

The Production Mix is plain round and rebar from 8mm-40mm. The Max. speed is 45m/s, rebar 80%. The all mills are from SMS, including RM/IM/PF/FM and HSD, shears and water boxes. SMS solution----LTR & Thermo-processing is using in the project. In order to reduce the cost, it can produce the same quality production with the less alloy composition according to the new standard. SMS supplied the equipment and the all program except for the heating furnace. The high light is single drive finishing mill (MEERdrive block) and HSD.

Main equipment description

2.1 Continue roughing mill.

The continue roughing mill comprises the total 18 stands arranged alternatively in horizontal/vertical configuration (except for the last 4 stands of the pre-finishing mill).

2.2 Finishing block and cooling line.

Including, a) Rolling stock feed line, b) Water cooling line, c) Pinch roll unit, d) Looper in front of the MEERdrive, e) Shear ahead of the MEERdrive, f) 6-stand MEERdrive. g) The horizontal loop.

2.3 High speed delivery system (HSD system).

Including, a) Pinch roll unit, b) Low/high speed rotating shears, c) Pipe conveyors, d) Bar breaking devices, e) Double rotating channel, f) Cooling bed.
